Anita Nderu Shows Off Her Adorable Bouncing Baby Girl (PHOTO)

Popular media personality Anita Nderu has announced the birth of her firstborn with her husband Barret Raftery to the world.

The excited new mom took to her Instagram page to show off their little bundle of joy whom they have named Kaya Gacheri Catalina Raftery.

Little miss Kaya was born on August 26, 2022.

“I am no longer pregnant. @barrettraftery and I finally got to meet our daughter Kaya Gacheri Catalina Raftery (Rap name: Nippy SucklešŸ˜) on the 26th of August 2022 at 3:48am,” she wrote.

In the cute announcement post, Anita reiterated her excitement at being a first-time mom.

“What a whirlwind couple of days it has beenšŸ™ŒšŸ½We are elated beyond words, grateful and in love and awe of our little humanā¤ļø We’re finally back homešŸ„³ Our rent free housemate is about to reveal her true colors as she schools us through the 4th trimesteršŸ‘¶šŸ¾šŸ¤—šŸ˜„ Parenthood 101 is now in session,” read her post.

The news comes after a couple of weeks of Anita showing off her glowing baby bump since her grand announcement.

Social media users have flooded her timeline with congratulatory messages. Fellow celebrity moms haven’t been left out in congratulating Anita. Lillian Muli, Jacky Vike and Kate Actress were among the first to send in their best wishes.

“Congratulations Love, enjoy motherhood,” read Jacky Vike’s post.

Kenya’s Third President Mwai Kibaki Is Dead

Kenya’s former president Mwai Kibaki has died at the ripe old age of 90.

The news was announced by President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier today at State House.

According to Uhuru, Ā Kibaki died on the night of Thursday, April 21.

“As a leading figure in Kenya’s post-independence history, his excellencyĀ Mwai KibakiĀ earned the abiding respect and affection of the people of this nation and other nations throughout the world,” the head of state said.

President Kenyatta said that in memory of the late Kibaki, the country will observe a period of mourning from today.

“The Flag of the Republic of Kenya shall be flown at half-mast at State House and all Kenyan Diplomatic Missions, Public Buildings and Public Grounds, all Military Bases, Posts, and Stations, on all Naval Vessels of the Republic of Kenya, and elsewhere throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Kenya; from today until sunset on the day of his interment.”

He further described the former President as a brilliant debater and an earnest friend to many.

“We remember the values by which he lived, the ideals he embraced, his dignity and diligence, his candour and concern for the well being of all Kenyans. His contributions as minister of finance and vice president saw Kenya’s economy grow steadily fuelled by a commodities boom as well as fiscal and monetary policies that were the backbone of his economic philosophy,” Uhuru said.

Jamal took to his social media page to announce that Saturday, January 29 was his last day at the station and thanked his fans for supporting him through the years.

Taking to his social media pages, Mwangi revealed that most of the unknown bodies bore marks of torture, tied with ropes, polythene bags on their heads and some had deep cuts.

On 20th October 2021, Yala Mortuary buried 9 unidentified bodies to create space in the morgue. Since then, the hospital receives atleast five bodies from River Yala every month.”

One of the professional body retrievers named Okero revealed that the bodies are brought from different areas and dumped on the river.

“Since July 2021 Okero kite has removed 31 bodies from River Yala. On 10th October 2021 Okero retrieved 10 bodies. Each of the 10 bodies were in individual sacks, and in his own words, ā€œeach body was neatly packed and sealed like a parcel.ā€
